For some good brewed beers and fun atmosphere this is a place to visit. This brewery does not have a menu or kitchen for food in-house, but outside food is always welcomed. Coronado Beach-A beautiful, family-friendly beach. Plan to get there early, as it can get crowded quickly. The beach is wide enough though that you can spread out comfortably. You can often see large sand castles near the hotel and the creators love donations. 

La Jolla Shores Beach-is a mile-long crescent of prime sand beach that has 300-foot sea cliffs, that truly makes it picturesque. This beach is a busy swimming area popular among families and surfers alike. Shielded by La Jolla Bay, it is also used as a launching ground for scuba diving and kayaking. At night it’s alive with the glow of beach fires.

Imperial Beach – Encompasses more than 4 miles of beach with lifeguard stations along the beach front. Take a stroll down the pier at sunset, with breath-taking views of the water.

Balboa Park-This park is amazing.  A great place to see where culture, science, and nature collide. Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve-Located within San Diego city limits and yet remains one of the wildest stretches of land on our Southern California coast! There are 1,500 acres of land here at the rare Torrey pine,  with miles of unspoiled beaches and a lagoon that is vital to migrating seabirds. Check out this stunning state park and enjoy all that is has to offer.

Mission Bay Park-A great place to just get out and enjoy the weather. There is something for everyone from beachfront bonfires to biking through the park. There are plenty of places to park, playgrounds for the kids and even boat launch ramps.
